Our Final Horror Poster

Hello

Overview
We have finished our final horror poster and I believe this was harder to create than the magazine because it had to be meaningful but it had to catch the audience's eyes. We were going for simplicity so we didn't want to overdo our horror poster with fancy Photoshop skills, we really wanted to keep it simple but effective.

This is our final horror poster and I'm actually very proud of it. We got a simplicity theme coming along and I was stunned with how Lewis got the cross to glow on Photoshop. All in the all message being portrayed across is religion and the anti-christ in which the mark of the devil is an upside down cross. We also have our logo on the bottom right so that the audience know who made the film and it was lucky that the logo fit along with the poster actually as it could have been much worse. We also got an 18 rating from the Internet and placed on the bottom left so that the audience will instantly know who is allowed to see the film. Since we usually read posters, magazines, newspapers etc from the top down it was a good idea to have the Damnation  title at the top so that the audience could instantly know what film it was. We didn't include a date and instead put coming soon as we believe this creates more suspense. The slogan 'From her past, comes a new evil' was really powerful and it's a shame that it wasn't included in the trailer however it does make the poster look more realistic and gives it a horror feel to it.
